The Hocking County Fair is held each year beginning on the first Monday following Labor Day.  Located at 100 N. Homer Avenue in Logan, Ohio.  The fair features many Jr. Fair Livestock Shows, Demolition Derby, Moto-Cross, Tractor & Truck Pull, Garden Tractor Pull, ToughTruck, Mud Bog and Auto-Cross.  Also featured throughout the week is the nightly entertainment held in the Shelter House and daily shows beside the Art Hall for kids.  
The midway features rides by Bates Bros. Amusements and games provided by Sterling Fundways. A great assortment of food is available from the many concessionaires who line the pathways of the fair. Inside the Art Hall you'll find food, clothing, crafts, photography and flower entries made by the talented people of Hocking County and surrounding areas. Commercial display booths can be found in the Art Hall and under the Grandstand and throughout the grounds.

Rule Change Jr. Fair Livestock Sale Checks!!!

Effective 2018 Hocking County Fair

The directors of the Hocking County Agricultural Society has made the following rule concerning Jr Fair livestock sales checks. This rule begins with the 2018 Hocking County Fair and applies to Junior Fair exhibitor selling any species through the Jr. Fair livestock sales. Checks will be available approximately 3 weeks following the sale. Jr. exhibitors will be notified through the fair's website (www.Hocking County Fair.Org),The OSU Hocking County extension services website (www.Hocking.Osu.edu) and notices in the Logan Daily News, WKNA radio 103.3 and the Hocking County Fair’s Facebook page.
Those who sold any species through the livestock sales must pick up their checks and cash them within 60 days of their issue date. Checks will become available for pickup in the Hocking County Fair office meeting room on the first day they are printed. Hours for pickup will be announced. Those who do not pick up and cash your check within 60 days will forfeit their checks and they will become void, unable to be cash, then return to the Hocking County Fair general livestock sales account to be used for sales expenses. A thank you card in an addressed, stamped envelope must be turned in at the time the checks are picked up.



​​Age Changes for Royality Contest!

Ages for the 2018 Hocking County Fair Junior royalty has been changed to allow younger contestants the opportunity to compete. There will be five classes this year with ages ranging from 5 -18 years old.

Girls 5 - 6 will compete for the title of Little Miss Hocking County Fair. The next age group will be for 7 - 9 Year-old girls. They will try for the title of Tiny Miss Hocking County Fair. These groups will meet in the Youth center on August 25th for their judging 5 - 6 year olds will be judge from      1 - 2:30 and the 7 - 9 year olds will have their competition from 2:30 - 3:30.

Older girls will also be competing on August 25th but their interviews will be held in the morning 15 - 18 year olds competing for Queen and 12-14 year-olds trying for princess will be judge from 9-10 am. Girls from 10-11 years of age will meet at 10:15 to be judged for the title of Jr. Miss.

Information sheets for girls interested in any of these categories may pick up entry blanks at the Fair office during the following entry dates August 3rd from 1 - 7 p.m. August 4th from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. August 10th from 1 - 7 p.m. and August 11th from 9 a.m. - 5 PM. These must be returned to the fair office no later than 5pm on August 11th. A recent photo of the contestant and a non-refundable $10.00 entry fee must accompany the entry form.
